Fleas can pose a serious threat to your pets! Last week, we lost an 8 pound cat due to flea anemia. Fleas sucked so much blood out of this kitty that she was too weak to resucsiate by the time we saw her. Fleas also carry tapeworms and even the plague bacteria. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you place all of your cats on flea preventive medications. We recommend Frontline plus. It can be applied in a single spot on the back of the neck and will kill fleas for 1 month. It also kills flea eggs so that your environment will not fill up with adult fleas.
